Mountaintop
Fortenberry/Tyler

Living up on a mountaintop with you, it can get mighty rough
Sometimes it doesn't matter what I do, it just is not enough
Way up here the wind blows high, through the trees across the sky
Way up on this mountaintop with you

So many things that we didn't know, I guess we couldn't have
But there was nothing that we could be told, we had to find it out
Now that we have see it through, know just what our love can do
There is no other place I'd like to be

chorus
Now that we have come together, I can see it so much better
Everyday is so connected just the way that I expected,
How it's easy to surrender, through the fall and through the winter
Now it's time to remember, they'll be springs and they'll be summers

Living up on a mountain ledge with you, can get mighty cold
Sometimes I feel I'm close to the edge without a limb to hold
But even when it's stormy, and my grip is failing me
I know that you would never let me fall

chorus
