From 1995 to 2003, I probably had the most enviable graphics job in town, all of the ads for MCA Records with Steve Armstrong. 

It was one triumphant run yielding over 1300 hundred ads for the roster and helping make MCA label of the year for 8 straight years.

Steve and I had the presses oiled like a good machine, photographs were approved by the artists and support staff.  The label heads, Bruce Hinton and Tony Brown personally approved every advertisement.  

And then one day Mercury folded into MCA.
And that was that.
